Course Overview

This 8-week course prepares you for the Pega Business Architect Certification exam. Using Pega’s App Studio and Dev Studio, you will learn common application development tasks performed from the perspective of a non-technical Business Architect, gaining hands-on experience along the way. This project-based learning takes place within each student’s personal Pega instance.

The Pega Business Architect Course is divided into three modules:

1.  Business Architect Fundamentals

2.  Agile & Application Logic

3.  Data & User Interface

This course covers: A variety of topics ranging from case lifecycle management, service-level agreements, user interface design, dashboards and channel interfaces, and the Pega Express methodology tools that are built into the system to facilitate collaboration and a fast development cycle.

All modules contain quizzes that test your knowledge and practical challenges to give you the opportunity to apply what you learn in the Pega platform. The course offers practice certification exams and a robust capstone project to complete the course.

Who Should Enroll

Getting certified as a Pega Business Architect is great for anybody who wants to know more about Pega or software development in general but has less OOP exposure or is somewhat less technically minded. This is also a great entry point for people that are interested in project management, due to its high focus on Pega’s brand of Agile (called Pega Express), or people that are more interested in the design aspects of a project due to a stronger focus on UI and somewhat lighter focus on technical development.
